Start Here: HTMA & Your Health

HTMA isn't just about minerals, it's about your body's internal state over time.
Let's see if this approach is right for you.

Feeling tired, burned out, or stuck with symptoms no one can explain?
You’re not alone—and this is your first step toward real answers.

Welcome to your starting point for understanding Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) — a simple, non-invasive test that offers a different perspective on your mineral patterns and how your body may be responding to stress over time.

What Is HTMA?

Watch this short overview to see what HTMA looks at, how it differs from blood testing, and how the results can help guide a more individualized approach.

HTMA measures minerals and certain toxic metals incorporated into the hair as it grows. But interpretation goes beyond looking at individual high or low numbers.

We look at mineral relationships and broader patterns — including oxidation rate, key mineral ratios and stress-related patterns — alongside your symptoms and health history to help guide individualized nutrition, supplement and lifestyle recommendations.

HTMA does not replace blood testing. The two provide different types of information and can be used together to provide additional context.

Is This for Me?

HTMA is for you if:

  • You’re exhausted (or wired-but-tired) and want to boost energy by supporting your body’s stress chemistry, not by pushing harder.

  • Your bloodwork says “normal,” but you still feel off—and you want a long-view read on mineral trends.

  • You want to identify hidden toxic metals (and key deficiencies) that quick blood/urine snapshots can miss.

  • You’re done with random supplementation and want a precise data-driven plan.

Is HTMA appropriate for you right now?

HTMA is likely a good fit if you:

  • want insight into long-term stress, energy, and mineral patterns
  • are looking for understanding rather than a diagnosis
  • are open to gradual, steady rebuilding rather than quick fixes
  • feel stuck despite “doing the right things”
  • want guidance that looks at patterns, not isolated numbers

HTMA may not be the right next step if you:

  • are looking for a rapid detox or cleanse
  • expect a medical diagnosis or immediate answers
  • want a single supplement or protocol to fix everything
  • are not in a position to make dietary or lifestyle adjustments
  • prefer short-term solutions over long-term change

Timing matters.
HTMA works best when the goal is clarity, readiness, and sustainable improvement — not urgency or pressure.

What You’ll Learn From an HTMA Report

HTMA is not just about what’s “high” or “low” — it’s about understanding the overall pattern.

You’ll learn about:

  • Your oxidation rate — your broader metabolic pattern
  • Key mineral ratios — relationships between important minerals
  • Stress-related mineral patterns — patterns that may provide insight into how your body is responding to prolonged stress
  • Certain toxic metals — including lead, mercury, arsenic and aluminum
  • Personalized recommendations — nutrition, supplements and lifestyle strategies based on the overall pattern

Our interpretation is based on Dr. Paul Eck’s Nutritional Balancing approach, which looks at mineral relationships and the overall pattern — helping turn your HTMA results into practical, individualized recommendations.

How to Read Your HTMA Results

An HTMA report contains a lot of information, and it can be tempting to focus on individual high or low numbers.

But interpretation works best when the results are viewed in a structured order and as part of the overall pattern.

Our full guide walks you through how to approach your HTMA results step by step — from oxidation rate and mineral relationships to broader patterns and toxic metals.
